My darling girl, why leave this world so soon when brilliance of your sun has not reached noon? My precious girl, why did you say goodbye? In bloom of youth, you were not meant to die Your smile could charm the angels up above Your words were soft and gentle, filled with love Your eyes could sparkle brighter than a star Why take the hand of Death and travel far? When you were here, we longed to be near you There was a sweetness there and comfort too Your presence filled our hearts with happiness, for in your soul resided tenderness God loved you, so He spared you tears and woe You're safe within His arms, this much I know! This world has nothing more than pain to give When Christ returns, eternal life you'll live You are at peace; we are the ones in strife Who'll take the place of daughter, sister, wife? The burden of your loss is hard to bear We miss your warmth and tender-hearted care But Death will one day die, and we will see you rise in glory, Queen of Victory! On Resurrection Day, in warm embrace we'll hold you close and kiss your angel face.

Dear Eileen, I have seen the photo, read the poem and the comments, and my heart aches at the loss of such a lovable person who was still in the prime of life. And yet there is consolation in knowing that she was spared more suffering, and the fact that she rests in eternal peace. Hugs dear friend // paul

I'm lost for words..in such situations Dear Eileen..I hope this beautiful flower is not a family member because the pain would be hundred times more to bear..How hard it is for us to lose somebody..The only comfort is found in our faith, and knowing that this life is nothing but a passage to a better life.Heartwrenching sweet Eileen.Big Hugs

Mariane was my student. A sweeter, gentler soul one could not find. I posted this poem on her Facebook page when I found out a year or so ago. I believe Covid was the culprit because she had underlying health issues. She had recently gotten married and had her whole future aheadof her. Heartbreaking...even till today, it's hard to believe she's gone. Thank you for sharing in the pain of loss with me.

Both beautiful and oh so sad. I don’t recognize the lady in the photo. I hope it’s not one of your family members or friends. Hugs Rick.

A beloved student. I can't describe the shock of finding out that she has passed away. It was devastating. Imagine what it was like for her husband, sister, and parents. Such a tragic loss of a beautiful kind soul. Mariane was really a special young lady. She will never be forgotten. Thanks for taking the time to read and post.

Life is sad....when the life of a beautiful, kind, sweet young lady is cut short due to illness, we can't help but feel sad. Mariane was my student. She had the sweetest personality. I'll never forget her.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your friends, Jan. Losing a child must be the worst pain there is. I just don't know how parents can deal with it and still survive. Mariane was newly married and had her whole life ahead of her. The only consolation is that she doesn't feel any pain anymore. Thanks for commenting and reaching out to me. Big hugs

Yes it is, dear. Mariane was my student. Her parents must have been devastated when it happened. I'm sure they are still trying to cope. She was so beautiful and full of life. This is a tribute to a life gone too soon.
