Why It Was Written Like It Was
the wars for the soldiers seemed endless
children bound to slave labour
if jesus wouldnt have freed the slaves
nobody would have been left to stop the witch hunt
and procreation would be impossible
maybe thats why black men seemed somewhat charmed
maybe thats why women seem somewhat gifted
the books we have passed on for previous grudges
crime scenes for happenings that could not be explained
incase "it" came back
cannot fathom the hardships faced lost words of renaissance
the esoteric metaphors of holidays were born
and passed on
passed on
Hindsight black and white
got away with the perfect crime
he did it all for you
the only one who would have forgiven
the lost soul spinning out of control
crimescene of the antichrist
is all i see in the midst of names and numbers
a leash
a routine to allow it to breathe
the magic made under rug swept
but a soul facing a familiar mistake
knows....that there is a reason
for soo many different versions of the truth
it was written the way it was
talking in circles and chasing his tail
spending an eternity working on getting away with one murder
obviously he fell for it
I'm just wondering who could point him in the right direction
when he makes bail
