Why forbear when He is near?? (Funom's Sonnet)
My God met me, so I can sing,
He has led me all my ways,
He has hid me in His own wing,
He has fed me all my days;
I let Him use my everything,
And I try to do as He says,
He bid my pen, so I can bring
A new way to say my praise;
God is by me in all my woe,
In Him, it's my joy to know
I'm not in the net of the foe;
I'll see Him one day, I've no fear;
He can win you, if you get near,
Let God in, why do you forbear?
