Why Do the Good Die Young

Dear God Why do only the good die young So soon before there life even begins Is it meant to be or isn’t it? I don’t understand why it happens I just know it does But every time it happens I feel desolate and I can’t stop crying So if your there hear my voice Answer my question Why do only the good die young

Angelia - This like this are great to ponder but destructive to dwell upon - Just as some games are made to never win - some questions are made to never answer - God Bless

that saying has been around for a long time, and only God knows. maybe it's to stop that young person from pain, and hurt that they would go through. this was a very tender write and so warm. thank you for reading my butterfly in the forest and for your comment.

Angelia, its okay to cry, but don't worry so much; there is a season for all things in this life, a time to rejoice and a time to cry, a time to live, a time to die. We often get it backwards by rejoicing when a child is born and grieving as someone leaves this world for the great beyond. We should grieve for the child that knows not what they’re being born into and rejoice for those whom God takes home at His appointed time. Until then we are to rejoice surviving in His Love. Be Blessed, Adell

Dear Angelia, This is a remarkable poem -a deep reflection. I too have experienced this. Better and permanent life starts after death. To die young means escape from lustful life for the preservation of the purity of soul. Perhaps God Almighty gifts this to likeables alone. Ultimate knowledge of all the events is only with God. I am deeply touched by your remarks on my poem Your Portrait. Thank you, indeed! -Mohammad
