Why

Why do you say you love me, Why do you say you care, Don't I make you, Want to pull out your hair? Why do you buy things, And give them to me? Hearing others say they love me, Is new, don’t you see? Why do you want, To hang out with me every day, Why do you listen, To the things I have to say? Why don’t you ever, Get mad at me and yell, Why don’t you ever shout, “I wish you would go to Hell!”? Why are you patient with me, Why are you kind, Why do you take the time, To understand what’s on my mind? I don’t understand, Why you do these things for me, Why you give me hugs, Why you say you love me. It’s hard to believe, The words of love and praise coming from you, I have to be reminded again, For this feeling is quite new. Do you actually mean you love me, Or is it a meaningless phrase? Do you really mean, All these words of praise?

Thanks. I'm only 21 but I've been writing poetry since I learned how to rhyme, about 6 or 7.
