Why Am I here do you Need me Lord The reason why we are here, Worship The reason why, we’re here, To give praise The reason why we’re here God DOESN’T need us Why Am I here do you Need me Lord Yet, He created us, AMEN He made us like angels Yet just a little bit higher He made us for His pleasure, In his image He created us He made us to be caretakers Part takers Co-parents He made us He Himself in the image Of God and angels Alas we sinned We are the blame, who blames us Why not ourselves, So God came down in flesh In the person of Jesus the Christ To save us all the believers and the lost Yet, He created us, AMEN Why Am I here do you Need me Lord He made us like angels Yet just a little bit higher He made us for His pleasure, In his image He created us He made us to be caretakers Cultivate be caretaker of God earth, this world Part takers Co-parent, humanity He made us He Himself in the image Of God and angels No matter what I do O God You’re my everything and Father I NEED you And all the love you bring Love all you say and do I need you, Lord I really do need you Why Am I here do you Need me Lord Lord, I need you I need you, forever I do I need you NEED YOU The reason why we are here, Worship The reason why, we’re here, To give praise The reason why we’re here God DOESN’T need us Yet, He created us, AMEN Your spirit within me is the Breath I breathe For without it I’m just “gone” misplaced energy; Breath in me In me YOU breathe Why Am I here do you Need me Lord The reason why we are here Is to praise you… 8/16/19 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2019©
