WHO WAS CLAUDETTE Claudette was; just so unassuming Ratty tail hair; as was her grooming Wore a tartan skirt utterly tasteless That hung on hips, totally shapeless But under her specs Betty Boo eyes Which she kept under great disguise Guest when on Maureen; we all dined Ate Mo’s eyes it kept hers so defined Nowt of Maureen, was going to waste But Claudette, had the required taste To stick a fork right in, suck out slime That was, her party trick at meal time Claudette, the second character from the poem "When We Had Maureen to Dine" Disclaimer: I wish to point out that the real Maureen McGreavy was not used in the making of this poem and is still very much alive and kicking . . . ; ) Indiana Shaw . . . ; )
