Who Was Claudette
WHO WAS CLAUDETTE
Claudette was; just so unassuming
Ratty tail hair; as was her grooming
Wore a tartan skirt utterly tasteless
That hung on hips, totally shapeless
But under her specs Betty Boo eyes
Which she kept under great disguise
Guest when on Maureen; we all dined
Ate Mo’s eyes it kept hers so defined
Nowt of Maureen, was going to waste
But Claudette, had the required taste
To stick a fork right in, suck out slime
That was, her party trick at meal time
Claudette, the second character from the poem "When We Had Maureen to Dine"
Disclaimer: I wish to point out that the real Maureen McGreavy was not used in the making of this poem and is still very much alive and kicking . . . ; )
