Who Wants To Be Immortal?
Like a phoenix
you tumble, hurt, and renew;
you grow old and grey
and yet you live through.
As you watch those around you
slowly pass on,
your children, grandchildren;
yet still you're not done.
Technology booms,
the world grows much faster,
through wars and starvation;
watch weather's disaster.
Would you really want
to live through it all?
To be historic relic,
and be immortal?
I wouldn't.
