Who Is Your Neighbor
A young family that lives in the house next door,
and across the street there lives one more;
The homeless man living on the street,
a teenager, headphones on, rocking a beat,
an elderly widow, infirm and alone,
the ex-con who is sorry and trying to atone;
Christian, Buddhist, Pagan or Jewish,
white, black, brown, yellow or bluish:
If your heart is beating and we happen to meet,
then you are my neighbor whom I'll gladly greet!
