Who Are We
Who are we really?
Who are we trying to be?
That is an hard question to answer for some,
Who are we?
What do our looks say about us?
Do we focus on the outer appearance too much?
Do we try to cover our true selves up when we go out for lunch?
Who are we trying to be?
Why do we put on a mask to cover up our flaws on our face?
All that really matters is what's inside our hearts,
Yet we carry our mask with us wherever we go,
Is it because we all have lost some of our faith?
Who are we trying to be?
Popular, pretty, successful, strong, confident?
If you truly love yourself, then all those concepts don't matter,
If you look in the mirror, what do you think it would say?
Who you are is, whoever the Lord made you to be,
Your image is inside you, inside your heart, your actions outbreak your words always
Be true to your self, and your heart will surely show your true identity.
