Whispers of Light
Whispers of light, now silent scenes
Though eyes have dimmed there is it seems
An inner realm not breached by day
Where memories ignite the play
Remembered hues from palettes vast
Inspire the views of seasons past
Etched from shadows froze in time
Enriched by sounds and dreams sublime
Though light is now a muted muse
It whispers still when thoughts enthuse
Note - This is an early poem of mine that I first thought
I could rhyme with a sense of cadence.
