Whisper
It is but a whisper that can
barely be heard
A whisper that came when
no one spoke a word
The silence of a whisper
riding on the wind
To fall on deaf ears to never
be heard again
Not knowing the sound a
whisper has made
That whisper on the wind
slowly starts to fade
To listen for something that
seldom is heard
To hear that whisper when
no one spoke a word
Listening closely for that
whisper on the wind
To break through the
silence to never be heard
again.
