Whiskey Lies

Southern eyes and whiskey lies Stars that die in your eyes Hold my hand break me apart Fireflies dying in the dark How can I remember My hearts been lying asunder How can I forget All the deeds that you did Voices call their true unrest As memories fall They mean less and less How can I remember When my heart's been dead Spirits scream inside my mind Embers burn Im marred yet fine Daggers tear the ties of pride I lay and listen to you lie How can I remember My hearts been lying asunder How can I forget All the deeds that you did Voices call their true unrest As memories fall They mean less and less How can I remember When my hearts been dead
