Mother earth gently moans the greenhouse effect From unhealthy car fumes floating through the air That’s causing devastation to our climate Back to back hurricanes and tornadoes reek Habit, causing devastation to our cities And states, leaving death and destruction all over It has caused irreversible damage to Most of us don’t seem to care at all now, sad Mothers earth gently moans the failure of crops That’s mean to feed billions, the climate change with With the excessive heat is destroying our crops Causing our farmers to produce less food each year Dry conditions or an overflow of rain Mother earth gently moans water pollution It’s killing all of our marine life and Over fishing is seen way to often, an Even the coral reef is vanishing quick Trash and toxins over run our rivers and Streams because of big tech companies who cares About making a dollar, while the toxins Poison our fish and the people who eat them Factories pollute the air until its not Safe to breath, it puts the quality in the Red zone, it’s like a blanket of fog that sits Mother earth gently moans, the lost of forests Where most of the trees is cut down for the sake Of progress, leaving the poor animals with No place to go, homeless with no end insight Taking away their food supply and forcing them To move closer to the human population In order to find food, this puts humans in Danger zone and causes conflict to Mother earth gently moans, to see the planet Slowly sinking into non-existence, she’s Suppose to be love, cared for and protected Most of all she hasn’t been nurtured either This is part of why mother earth moans gently FEBRUARY 23, 2021
