While It Lasts

While It Lasts When shadows from the setting sun blanket the grass Keeping warm every moment we've had Staring at stars or sharing a kiss between bars Remember every moment while it lasts Like Hank driving down a lost highway We got spun turned to dust trying to do things my way Shining smiles in the sun A siren singing songs of the past Remember every song while it lasts As I flick ash off my cigarette And smoke rolls off the tip I think the road goes wherever you want to get Street signs calling as we pass Remember no road is the last Remember every moment while it lasts We fight fire with gasoline Not every fire is what it seems Remember no road is the last And remember every moment.... While It Lasts
