Where Whispers Go
Have you ever wondered where whispers go,
When our secrets no longer matter?
Or the kind that cause two lover's hearts
To even go, pitter patter?
Whispers become the breeze in the fall
That chase the Autumn leaves
Or that gasp of surprise, when you kneel to propose
With that diamond she finally receives
A whisper becomes that wind in your sails
As you're sailing the ocean's blue
Or maybe that sound you make with your mouth
When you're telling your cat to "Shoo"
It's that adrenaline you feel, the moment you fall
That gives your heart that rush
Or maybe that sound, when someone gets loud
And you ask them nicely to "Hush"
A whisper's the part we can't leave behind
And maybe, you consider it odd
But a whisper is what gave life to our souls
For a whisper's the Breath of God
