Where Is the Bee?

Full hour now Sitting by this flower Waiting for The bee to come Through golden light Of evening Laden with her hum But long time waiting No honey maid comes Where is the bee I came to see? I came before Yesterday From the city's growl To be far away To sniff the fragrance From the weed I hear the dance By which you concede The knowledge of gold In golden vanity Of flower in the sun. No fruit forms on the tree No honey in the hive The bee is gone from me Not one here Found alive. Could be the seed Genetically transformed Or pesticide Silencing the breed? I want to hear Again the hum, sweet Upon the tongue, And watch the dance Of golden glee Where is the bee?

Awesome poem L'nass ! Really like this one of yours. Felt like I was hanging around waiting with you. You are right . The bee problem I believe is getting worse.I noticed the lack of them in my garden, last year. Keep sharing.
