Where I Am From
Where I am from
Where I am from, is a place far and distant.
Where people went, or go to escape the south,
for the right to be free to be entangled in a web
of many roads to chose from. Every thread of a
web is a life line to an individual.
Where I am from my life line starts: I am a product
of love, a memory of the past and a hope of a future.
Where I am from; gangsters live and die by there own
corruption.
Where I am from is between nowhere and somewhere,
for I am the eyes and ears of what was, what is and what
will be. Where I am from the tallest building was the sears
tower and were you can feel the winds whip through the
buildings. I am from Chicago. That's where I am from...
