Where Have I Been

We've all been places we don’t know Somewhere with our life in tow Shrouded in our memories past Before the physical was cast It’s what we wanted where we started The home of light from which we parted Established in a realm unknown We found on earth a brand new home Tempered by the things we see There’s guidance in our memory I’ve been there but I don’t know how It’s timeless in the things I think The bloom of life, the ancient link There is a path to where I’ve been Do you know the way? It’s Him Jesus made a way back home In sacrifice it’s clearly shone Seek the way where life is found Can you find it, hear the sound? Jesus made the way again Back to home where I have been

John: I would love to discuss "where you've been" with you but I'd sound preachy. Thank you for sharing those thoughts with each of us. The world needs to know of His Great Love and Sacrifice. Thanks again for a job well done, good and faithful servant. :o) oldbuck

This is beautifully written, John. Jesus is the "bloom of life" as you describe so well. A 7 from me. Thanks for sharing!
