Where Frozen Embers Still Burn
We lose hope,
drowning in dope,
not knowing the strength
deep within our breath.
We carry energy of a thousand suns,
in every, hurt, humiliation, and suspicions
of following the wrong "path",
that could lead to "death."
We wait for time to heal our hearts,
so as to forget all life's hurts,
but the pain becomes too much to handle;
problems become too complex to handle.
The skies we stare for a sign;
an answer to perfectly align
with our desires, only for silence
to return to haunt our conscience.
It is only our attitude that we need to change,
so as to get divine power as our wage!
