At an assisted living facility it isn't hard to witness, once vital and productive individuals, who have been robbed of their being, from memory loss.  I ask WHERE DID THEY GO?

Where did they go Now they have arrived; Hunched over walkers With tennis balls and glides. Where did they go Staring blindly into space; Smiling and nodding Yet no recognition, Of a familiar face. Where did they go Their world cloistered In clear confusion; Where identity and truth Live in fantasy, bundled in delusion. WHERE DID THEY GO? January 9, 2017

This is so sad Paulette, getting old like that really sucks though maybe in their minds they don't even realize it.
