Hey if my muse disappears and I could write a poem like this creative gem I wouldn't be too concerned - your voice may be soft and gentle at the moment but i can still hear your words:-) hugs Jan xx

Gosh Darren , if loss of a muse and voice can still produce such brilliance, then I think to myself, we must prepare to be blown away when it returns...Maria

We all fall into slumps at times but someone of your talent won't stay there long. This piece above is proof of that. Even when the ink is flowing low, yours still managed to bring amazing work to the page.

We all struggle sometimes, don't we? I hope you'll find yourself back with lots of wonderful poems :)

You've heard me talk about "finding your voice" and how this phrase is used often. Your voice is already there, with you. There's nowhere to search. Step away from the pen and paper, the computer and the books, sit and gaze at a plant and breathe. Smile in the direction of suspicious onlookers. Keep writing, your voice incredibly present and vibrant. When defining voice, the word 'critique' is used zero times. W

This poem is based on the conversation you, Budgie and I were having this morning. It's that struggle I am having right now to find myself back, and the harder I fight the worse it gets. So yeah, time for some meditation and nothingness instead. Time for the wheelchair and take little Noor to school instead. But gawd, it makes me..... meh!

I did the double meaning about voice, with the struggle about getting a decent reading with my own voice, which just doesn't work. Oh, and THAT's something you and I need to talk about next time LOL

You have a booming voice, one that can shatter a page, one that can bring joy and love!
