Where Are You

Where Are You? Where are you my love - where are you? I searched for you, but did not find you. Where are you my love - where are you? Are you up in the sky, or in the still of the night? Are you in the rain, or in a morning's breeze, or have you just vanished like time? Where are you my love - where are you? I searched in the woods, I looked everywhere, but my love - you were not there. I look at the sky, when I see a bird fly and I wonder - could that be you, that just passed by. When I look at the stars and see one that shines so bright - I wonder, could that be you - giving me light. I can not see you, I can not feel you. I don't know where you have gone. Where are you my love - where are you?...

Ok I mentioned it and couldn't resist. I had actually opened my poem with, Where are you, lol. I didn't even remember that part, I think that may have been a functional title, but I decided to call it lost souls, which is what I will put it under now. You will see what I mean. I know our poems don't represent the same thing, but yours did remind me of mine.

I have an old very unfinished poem, that has a very similar theme to this. I like this poem, but yours is much better for sure. I had written that before I even joined the soup, was trying to move more into free verse. I will probably be reading poems that have been here for a while, so sorry if some comments are a little belated.
