Where are you

I’m there because she’s there Though the secret of love My eyes declare When they not only watch But begin to stare Oh how I wish I could Clear the air And show her with which My heart would swear Make plain with words What my soul would bare Come to terms with my conscious And make it square Incurable shyness and Inexplicit scare Oh how I wish I could show My care And make my wanting Realy clear Yet tell her I would not dare The fear of rejection Keeps me there

This is such a beautiful poem of yearning for someone so much but the fear of rejection holds back what the heart desires. Such a relatable, sad situation and it will resonate with so many. There are so many times in life when you ‘miss out’ because rejection would appear to be a greater loss if one did take the chance. A reflective read for me. Thank you for sharing. Blessings to you :)

I can feel the desire to make your wanting clear...I can relate to your fear of rejection....that's the way my hubby was when we met. Relatable poem. Have a great evening, Sara
