Where Are You

I have travelled far and wide Even on the earth’s other side But you were not there I stood alone amidst the dark Hearing the solitary sound of a deer’s bark But you were not there I read every book that I could get hold of To catch between the lines your hidden thought But you were not there I searched among human faces Read their palms for missing traces But you were not there I wrote words of wisdom Drew sketches of mystical kingdoms But you were not there Divine love why play truant with me Are you a child who loves to play hide and seek?
