It is never too late for the United State of America to recover from anything as long as we remember from where we came and what this country represents. we have to care for each other and rid ourselves of the "me" era..

Where Are We Going? By Franklin Price 7/23/2016 We can't just keep on going on To a place of nothingness No compass or altimeter To get there I confess Seems establishment is satisfied To keep the status quo No plans for going anywhere Think there's nowhere else to go No cooperation with each other No discussion in the air As long as they are re-elected Looks like they don't really care Need people who are different Who think there still is more That new frontiers are out there That there's much for us in store First we need to stabilize The conditions we are in My opinion is as follows As to how we should begin Get involved with choosing government Elect those with patriotic minds Who will do what's best for country Without their heads up their behinds Then assist them in endeavors That will bring us back on line To set some paths to follow Our direction to define Once again be siblings In the family U.S.A. Pray to God to help us Repair this country, find the way

Great poem Franklin. We are most definitely at a crossroads. I don't really see a great leader anywhere around. Not too many Abe Lincolns running around.

As has been said of Lincoln and FDR, the times make the man. Think postively. We can overcome.

glad you liked the verse. I wrote it to be humorously serious. Thanks for visiting.
