Where Are Those Days

Where are those days when life was fun? We all lay drying our bodies in the sun We had no care or worry of the world Suddenly into adult reality we were all hurled. We drifted further into the arms of expectations As if our achievements would save us and the nations. We all need something more than routine Where is happiness gone where has it been? I will trade all my money and earthly possessions For a world filled with love and less such oppressions We all chase for things unimportant on our pedestals they sit being dormant.
