When You Kissed Her
did you taste me when you kissed her?
I was there long before you,
deeply
imbedded
in
her
love
a
tulip
licking
manic
bug...
but our time together has long past.
We
were
a
meteor
shower
a
spring
river
lightning
flash.
Decades have past,
i see your love for her is of the planet type,
took a long time to spin into form
but
(doesn't burn as bright....as mine did).
Has the density to absorb god,
the death of passion and meteors-
but
it'll fade into nothingness, as all things do.
Then in your broken hour chair of blue,
you'll ask her next conquest
did you taste me when you kissed her?
