When Vinnie Died

At the hour of death that final breath was like a gust of a mighty wind, it was full of sparkles like champagne, the bubbles released all demons and sorrows the body harbored in life, then a Quiet, a Still, as if freed at last, Peace, and Vinnie fell back with arms outstretched that failed to reach his waiting wife.
