When the Day Is Very Near
When the day is very near
Great suffering shall happen;
People shall feel anguish,
Plague, disaster, and famine.
Conduct one's self in a manner
Worthy of the gospel;
Pray to remain standing firm,
And make our paths so well.
Trust in what the Lord can do,
Keep on doing what is right;
This must be our mindset,
To turn darkness into light.
Cast your cares on the Lord,
As your broken heart bleeds;
Allowing us not in misfortune,
Ask Him for all our needs.
Never must you be worried,
Our solid faith knows no fear;
Obey the Lord at all times,
When the day is very near.
