When the Children Cry

When the children cry Hold their hand Their only young Help them understand When the children cry Console their thoughts Reassure Don't leave them distraught When the children cry Hold them close For in any circles We love them most When the children cry Disperse their fear Dry their eyes Their young felt tears When the children cry http://www.thehighlanderspoems.com/life-3.php

Children are innocent and often don't understand the ways of the world around them, James. If they are provided with the type of love you describe, it helps them to grow into more compassionate adults. This lovely write touches the reader's heart. As Dane Ann said, this is truly "eloquent." Parents and all adults must be mindful of the impact people's actions have on children. Very well penned! Love, Carolyn

This is a lovely write, James. Children are so special and bring great joy into our lives. When parents love God, foremost, they can show forth love to each other. And, in turn, give their children the greatest gift, life in a harmonious home. And all will be blessed with happy days. It isn't easy, but success is worth it. That's my view. Maybe it's a fairytale. But I've heard that dreams do come true. This poem eloquently shows parental love. It is wonderful. Love, Dane
