When Pain Is No More
When sadness overtakes you, walls caving in.
Feels like there's no purpose, reason for living.
It hurts now, I know, don't give up, this too will pass.
Soon sorrow and pain will be gone, forever at last!
When innocence is stolen, by someone you thought cared.
Trust was shattered, in solitude, and you are scared.
There are no scars, cuts, or bruises, that can be seen,
No one knows that it's your emotions that bleed.
When pain is no more, what a day that will be!
No more hunger, tears or sorrow, just wait and see!
The pain we all feel now, no matter the reason,
Will be gone for good, in God's due time, and season.
