'when My Voice Becomes Silent'

That day will come When I can no longer utter my deepest thoughts When you won't be able to read them either Life has crept up on us The rush of life Became our daily quest I hope that when my voice becomes silent; That my actions will verbalize my thoughts I might not see you everyday We might not converse everyday Like in the past But try not to forget How I made you feel In that moment When the room was overflowing With faces And out of the crowd You only had eyes for me

Powerful. Two people totally involved. I love the set up and ending on each stanza. Thisone aloud, slow and in tune with every word...is hard and beautiful! You did this!!! : )

If someone was standing there telling you this, you would know that their soul is talking.

Oh my golly-- this really gripped me, Missy-- I love those lines: "I hope that when my voice becomes silent; That my actions will verbalize my thoughts " -- very kidnappable lines! You truly do write gems that stay with you, those that make you ponder in a good way. Thank you for writing the way you do! Hope your weekend's good! mwahugs!

Liked this a lot. The clock only ticks one way we must live and love every minute and leave the negatives to others. I loved the eyes across the room reference and when that continues whether you're alone together or in a crowd it is magical. I may be speaking out of turn but I think we all want to be the one and only for somebody. Kind regards, Ian
