When Love Ends

When Love ends there is nothing left, Your heart is taken by a sudden theft. When love ends the flowers don't bloom, The Utopia that was your world spirals into doom. No one realizes they are made of glass, Or that they aren't golden but made of brass. Reality sets in with the sudden blow of heartbreak, It is then we realize a flesh heart can also break.' With every passing second there is a voice calling, It is the voice of the person that existed before there was nothing. The empty shell of the fruit is all that remains, Trying to revive itself in a world of ongoing rains.

What a blessing we have in PoetrySoup. A place to come to write and read and make new friends along the ink trail. I am wishing you a day full of inspiration. I enjoyed reading your poetry today and hope to read many more written by you in the future Hector. Love, Carol
