When In Doubt

My crooked smile, my honest blue eyes, will turn an inch to a mile, while bleeding you dry. I can be what you want, I can be what you need, I can put on a front, I can make you believe. The sharpest of minds, the darkest of souls, the solace you find, the innocence I stole. My heart made of stone, my skin made of leather, my will is my own, and it will be forever. The what you know, is the when in doubt, and the where to go, is the when you find out. My will is forever, and ever all alone, forever and ever, forever my own.

To me this poem tells a bit of a darkly seductive story, like one of those you can't take your eyes off of...well written--TK
