When I Gaze Into My Reflection I See Is Only You
You stare at the ocean to see your impression in that place
When I look at the blue sea I know only your face
You skip a stone and your image does scatter
In my mind I see the only thing that does matter
You look in the mirror and see a clear image of yourself to view
When I gaze into my reflection I see is only you
You look in your binoculars to see far away
But when I do I see clearly the person that I want to stay
When you call out your name you hear the echo
When I call out I hear the name of the one whose love I bestow
You look in the mirror and see a clear image of yourself to view
When I gaze into my reflection I see is only you
When you leer in to the future you see more
When I gaze into our destiny I behold your appearance and that I don’t want to
ignore
You glimpse for a shadow in the hopes of a capture
Mine casts a picture of you, which leaves me in a state of rapture
You look in the mirror and see a clear image of yourself to view
When I gaze into my reflection I see is only you
