When I Feel the Blues
When I Feel The Blues
When I feel the blues
The jukebox feels my sorrow,
My pain is self-inflicting
And whiskey flows like water.
When I feel the blues
My shadow starts to whisper,
Demons snicker in the dark
And angels see the sinner.
When I feel the blues
Rock bottom beats my spirit,
Joy is but a memory
And laughter has no purpose.
When I feel the blues.
