When Humans Are Trees
tears passing lids, I look up above
the sky without clouds
and it all points towards crushing the young love
my eyes open, my eyes close
caressing the glass I hold tight
and it's worth every look in his eyes
when humans are trees, you are rooted to me
found the life in you, found the death too
sever these branches- it's the only way
hands hold nothing
my heart's starting to meld
forget me like your childhood memories
but your eyes cut mine, and I feel everything
you are flipping sides
tears resurrect, but the water is dead
when humans are trees, you are rooted to me
found the life in you, found the death too
sever these branches- it's the only way
