When Guilt Surrounds

of grief the dread here you are dead the guilt I have I can’t forget I carry the cross all day long my heart and mind they’re not so strong it left me lonely and upset. I carry the cross all day long the love I had forced me to act all my wrongdoings I retract my heart and mind they’re not so strong of grief the dread I carry the cross all day long life with heartache awfully packed my heart and mind they’re not so strong here you are dead of grief the dread here you are dead 06/01/22 Meditative Ballad Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Emile Pinet
