When Evil Rules In the Heart of Men

When evil rules in the heart of men When evil rules in the heart of men There's no satisfaction unless they cause death The mind schemes hurtful and malicious plans The heart meditates on it's malevolent traps There is joy in seeing the innocent one suffer When the heart is embittered with poisoned fervor When evil in the heart conquers the rational mind Vestiges of a conscience vanish into space and time Without that inner voice motivating him to choose good Only vicious twisted hate filled voices are what's understood Remorse is not something to be considered, or ever applied When it's the goodness and humanity inside that has died No options are left for the mentally tortured and deranged Although to innocent and decent people it sounds so strange It's hard for the blameless and right hearted to visualize How a fellow human being can be radically dehumanized It's one of those unsolved mysteries that forever will be told How a youth changed into a serpent whose blood runs cold.
