When Death Comes Calling
When Death comes calling,
No one can mistake his voice.
When he knocks on the door,
Each must answer,
No one has a choice.
Death cannot be put off,
Each must go with him as they are.
Leaving their robe of flesh behind,
To go on a journey far beyond the stars.
When Death comes calling,
There is nothing for us to fear.
If we have put our trust in Jesus,
He’ll be with us. He is always near.
