When Bad News Calls

When Bad News Calls A ring can bring the freeze of fear. A loved one in harm, helplessness. There falls a crackling atmosphere, Paralysis like vibrating wires through your being. Hours and days of anxiety, Replacing routines and normalcy. Hand-gripping eves of dark anticipation; Would that love were not so definitive. But there is no other way; No other way desirous. In the undercurrent lives the river of hope – Hope of joyful restoration.

I agree w/Victor, this is a beautifully nuanced poem. Cutting edge poetry, Sunlite. Excellent in every way. Loved it. Peace and joy.

Beautiful poem! Loving the fact that Love is so definite in your opinion--no thought to compromise, though sentiment can be painful when come the trials. Our only salvation is faith; knowing that this life is but a journey-step in the immortal cycle of spirit/flesh experience. Some say faith if blind...but really only to those who do not believe. For Faith proves itself transformatively to those having an intimate, dynamic relationship with God.
