What You Stole From Me
You can hide who you are,
But nothing will take away the scar
That you left in my life
when you took it upon yourself
to steal a piece of my childhood away.
You walk around as if nothing happened
telling yourself it was just a game
But what you have seemed to have forgotten
Is you hurt another human being.
You stole a part of my life
that I will never get back.
I try to forgive and forget
but when I see the smile upon your face
I get sick all over again.
Your day is coming you will see
God is your judge and jury
don't you see
I just live with the memories.
