What You Saw Was Not Pluto
To a big observatory you have to go.
Some very famous astronomers you will have to know.
I assure you whatever you saw was not Pluto.
If you thought that was the planet, I would have to say “no”.
Pluto is too far and too small to see.
Nobody found it until 1930.
You can’t see it in a store-bought telescope.
Sorry if I have inadvertently dashed your hope.
What you probably saw was an asteroid.
There are plenty of them out in the solar space void.
Most of them can be found between Jupiter and Mars.
They can be seen among the backdrop of stars.
