What You Got

We can only run so far We must only come to a stop We are seldom what we are Yet we never knew what we got We stand proud and tall Savoring in our own private moments Knowing no how we ignore Why do everyone have problems? We stoop low and grief Complaining in any given opportune Do we pack up, do we leave? How do everyone stay in tune? I stand low and I sit tall I do not hear but I listen I do not clap but I applaud I am in pieces but I’m not broken We are never what we are For every other story to have a full stop We run and we run again so far Would you have known what you got?
