What Matters Most
Do you ever feel that you are someone that just doesn't matter?
Just another small voice in a room full of chatter?
In this world that's so laced with lies.
Where everyone seems to wear a disguise.
Surrounded by the perfect or so they may boast.
Those who have lost track of what matter most.
To be silent when others speak.
To be strong for those who are weak.
To be gentle with the fragile and watch over the ill.
To not be judge nor jury or claim to be doing Gods will.
To be a guide for the lost and a voice for the shy.
To sometimes just listen and not ask why.
To quench the thirsty and make sure the hungry are fed.
To offer the weary a place to rest their head.
To be the voice of reason for the misled.
To be the vote of confidence for those facing
something they dread.
But this must come first and foremost.
Be true to yourself it's what matters most.
