What Makes Me Happy?
The softness of down as it cradles my head
The feeling of warmth as I lay here in bed
The smell of perfume as it’s lingering sweet
A long stretching road set there, for my feet
A smile in the morning from the many I see
The ocean, its vastness, which calls out to me
All children’s laughter, as it sounds in the air
The smell of the lilacs, as I play with your hair
The sun in the morning, the moon there at night
Seeing children play safely, as kites then take flight
The birds in the heaven just set there to soar
A roof there above and below there, a floor
Just enough riches to share with my friends
Seeing that all struggles then come to an end
Life, its whole purpose is just being carefree
These are the things that will make me happy
