What Is Your Hypocrisy

Little old man, lived in the front pew, Praying his beads and singing his hymns with virtue While at home, he gossiped and construed about everyone Brazen he’d go down to the saloon and have a few and argue about his view © Eve Roper 4/16/2015 Forgot to submit Contest Name : What Is Your Hypocrisy Rubaiyat Form Sponsor : Justin Bordner

A well-written Rubaiyat. It's interesting to see others' perspective of the theme for the contest. Very nicely done.It is part of our human nature. It is rather disgusting to witness hypocrisy in society, yet we can often find it in ourselves, unless one is in denial. Always, Laura

Thank you,Laura. I have found out that through all the readings in all the poem contest, I have read, they are’re all different , just like a class in still life painting, it might be the same scene but every artist sees the scene different and use different color hues. hugs Eve

I guess that kind of person can be found anywhere regardless of religious affiliation. A 7 for this factual observation, dear Eve. :) Kim

Well-captrured dear. However, the matter of religiousness and spiritualism is a hard one to talk about. Anyway, my appreciation and a 7+!
