What If

Sometimes I wonder Who I might be Had I walked down a different path Would it still have led me to you A darker choice Satisfying just me The way people call free Would it have obscured your light I try to analyze The many forks in the road We both had to travel Was this not meant to be In the end God guided our steps Formed you for me Was this not his plan all along So I guess the answer Who I am has changed By the path he ordained What if I hadn't followed

Great questions. Sometimes it's hard to know the right path to follow... all our earthly desires tend to get in the way and muddy the decisions. Always so introspective with your writings... loved it! I see that What If is a popular title (I wrote a lyric awhile back called that... though I don't think it's that great).
