What If

I have to learn to hide... All this that's inside. Perhaps I can put it in ink. But at night I cannot help to think, What if? What if I ran back to you, And held you so tight? What if I never left, And stayed with you all night? What if we stayed hand in hand, And I had held on a bit more? What if this is what God has planned? What does He have in store? Why did you not beg me to stay? Why did you have to let me go? What if it had gone differently? What if I secretly do not know? What if you still miss it? Perhaps, just as much as I. What if you lie awake too, And stare at the sky? The questions are left alone, And one is left with doubt. Is this what this feeling, Is all about? I have to find a way, To keep all this in. But I want so bad, To have it back again. Oh what ever can I do? I can not help but think, What if... I Love You?
